Hiring a date for the occasion — explained

Hiring a date in another country

3 min read

When the occasion is abroad — a destination wedding, a conference dinner, a family wedding in another country — the price is that country's day rate, not your own. You pay against an invoice once the full price is agreed, and you can brief her days before you land.

Which price applies

The day rate follows where the occasion happens, so a wedding in Lisbon is priced for Portugal wherever you live. The price page shows the estimate for any country.

How payment works

  • You agree the full price in writing
  • You receive an invoice with a payment reference
  • You pay the 50% advance against the invoice, from the payments screen in your account
  • The booking is confirmed when the advance arrives

Easy company, no pressure on either side.

Planning from a distance

Send the brief and the dress code before you travel, and agree where you will meet near the venue. She lives in that city, so she can suggest a café nearby. Your bank or card issuer may charge a fee for a payment in another currency; check before you pay.

Frequently asked questions

Can she travel to the wedding from another city?

Yes, if she agrees; her travel is part of the agreed price, and she leaves when the day ends.

Can I pay in my own currency?

Ask when you request your quote; the estimate is in US dollars so countries compare, and the quote can be discussed in your local currency.

Can I pay her in cash on the night?

The advance is paid against our invoice, never in cash or to her. The rest of the price you pay her directly on the day, never more.
