Hiring a date for the occasion — explained

Hiring a date for the first time: a checklist

3 min read

Your first booking needs six things settled before the day: the occasion and date, the plan in writing, the costs, a public first meeting, a short brief, and how the day ends. Most first-time clients find it simpler than expected.

Before you request

  • The occasion, the city and the date
  • The dress code and roughly how long the day runs
  • Your local estimate from the price page

Before you confirm

  • The plan agreed in writing: timings, what the day includes
  • The costs agreed: the day rate, her travel, any tickets
  • Where you meet in public first
A man in a white shirt and his date, a woman in a trench coat, talking as they sit on seaside rocks in the low evening sun.
A dinner in another city, with a local at your side.

Before the day

  • The brief sent: names, story, anything to avoid
  • How she gets home at the end
  • Both of you know either side can end the day

Frequently asked questions

What if I have never done this before?

Most first messages say exactly that. Tell us the occasion and we will guide the rest.

How far ahead should I book?

Two weeks gives the most choice; a week usually works; short notice sometimes works in large cities.

Can I cancel?

The advance is refunded in full if nobody is introduced, or if she cancels or does not come. Once you are introduced, it is not refunded if you cancel or change the plan; the date can move only if she agrees, and the advance stays on the booking.
