Why it is a day rate
A wedding is not an hour. There is the ceremony, the photographs, the reception, the speeches and the dancing, and a guest who leaves halfway through is more noticeable than no guest at all. Every Girlfriend Hire booking is therefore one full day, up to ten hours.
A day rate also protects the companion: she plans her day around your occasion, so she is paid for the day.
How the rate is set
The rate follows average earnings in the country where the wedding takes place, so it is the same for everyone in that country and fair to the woman accompanying you. The estimate is a range because the city and the length of the day vary.
- United States: $940–$1,380 for the day
- United Kingdom: $660–$970 for the day
- United Arab Emirates: $630–$930 for the day
- India: $230–$340 for the day
What else to budget for
The costs of the day are agreed before you book, never on the day:
- Her travel to the venue and home again
- A hotel room of her own if the wedding is away from her city
- Any ticketed part of the day that guests pay for
- Nothing for the wedding gift — that is yours
What the price never includes
The price buys a strictly platonic guest for the occasion. Nothing romantic or physical is part of it, at any price, and a request for it ends the booking.

Is there an hourly option?
No. Every booking is one full day, because occasions run long and a companion's day is planned around yours.
When do I pay?
You pay 50% of the day rate in advance when you choose a companion, and the rest directly to her on the day.
Does a destination wedding cost more?
The day rate follows the country of the wedding. Travel and a room of her own are agreed separately, in advance.
