Current Terms of Service in English. This page has not yet been translated into your selected language.
Who provides the service
Rent Him is the parent brand of Girlfriend Hire. Both brands use one shared platform and operator. An account, booking, invoice or subscription is attached to the brand shown on its confirmation. Questions or complaints about this site can be sent to [email protected]. These terms cover use of this site and its account, request and companion features.
Eligibility and service boundaries
You must be at least 18, or the higher age of majority where you live, and give accurate information. Companionship is social and strictly non-sexual. Neither a request nor a profile guarantees a match, booking, particular person, number of introductions or earnings. We may refuse an unsafe, unlawful or out-of-scope plan. An identity review is a human check of submitted documents and a selfie; it is not a criminal-background check or a guarantee of a person's conduct.
Requests, bookings and price
Sending an enquiry or creating a request does not by itself reserve a companion or commit you to pay. Before a paid client booking, we will provide the proposed person, date, location, duration, activities, boundaries, full price and agreed expenses in writing. A booking exists only after both sides confirm the plan and we confirm it in writing. The published estimate starts at one full day and is an estimate until a final quote is confirmed.
The client pays the costs of the booking itself: the companion's travel to and from it, transport during it, meals, tickets and entry, and accommodation where the booking involves travel. They are agreed in writing before the booking, and a companion does not pay them. These costs are not part of the price shown, and asking for them as agreed is not asking for more than the price shown.
Booking advance
The price shown for a request is the whole price for its country, its dates and its number of days. To book, you pay 50% of it in advance, online: choosing a companion makes the advance payable and we invoice it then, and contact details are exchanged once the advance is paid and the companion has accepted, or, where a membership means no advance is payable, once she has accepted. 50% of the price shown you pay to her directly on the day, unless your booking confirmation says we collect the whole price. A companion who asks for more than the price shown is in breach of these terms, and you can report it from your account; because the plan and the messages are held on the platform, there is a record of what was agreed.
If the companion you chose cannot accept, or does not accept in time, the advance carries to your next choice rather than being charged again. If nobody is introduced to you, or the companion cancels, or she does not come and we confirm your report, the advance is refunded in full; so it is if we end an introduction for safety. Once an introduction is made the advance is earned — it pays for finding and introducing her, which by then we have done — and it is not refunded if you then cancel, except where mandatory consumer law gives you a refund right. A booking is for a set date, so the 14-day right to withdraw does not apply to it; you can cancel as set out below. A date can move only if she agrees, and the advance stays with the booking.
Membership
Where we offer it, a client who has met a companion through us can buy a membership for one year. The advance to book is 50% of the price: Member halves it to 25%, and Concierge removes it and assigns one person from our team to plan the occasion with you. Both open a second group of companions to choose from on a request, and your requests are worked first. A membership does not change how candidates are ranked for you — every client is ranked the same way, member or not — and it promises no meeting, no particular companion and no outcome. The price is the figure for your country, and where we hold no price for your country a membership cannot be bought. What the companion is paid is never reduced; only the advance is, so the total you pay comes to 25% plus your companion's 50% as a Member, and only your companion's 50% as a Concierge member, and the reduction is a separate line on the invoice.
A membership is paid once a year, by the method shown to you when you pay, and your year begins when that payment is confirmed. Nothing renews automatically and we hold no card or account to charge: we issue the next year's invoice 30 days before the year ends, and if it is not paid the membership simply ends on its date, with nothing further to pay. You can tell us at any time not to send the next invoice, and that costs you nothing. A membership you have paid for runs to the end of its year; apart from the 14 days below, and any refund or price reduction the law gives you if we fail to provide what you paid for, we do not refund part of that year's price for time you do not use. Moving from Member to Concierge during a year is invoiced at the Concierge price for your country, less the Member price you paid multiplied by the whole days left in your Member year and divided by 365; where that credit covers the whole Concierge price we arrange the move with you by hand.
You have 14 days to withdraw from a membership, for any reason, and you do not have to give one. The 14 days start the day after your membership contract is made, and if we confirm your payment after that, the day after we confirm it. Each year you pay for, including a renewal, is a new agreement with its own 14 days. If we did not tell you about this right when you bought, you have twelve months and 14 days. To withdraw, use "Withdraw and get a refund" on your membership screen, or write to [email protected] and say you are withdrawing; any clear statement will do, and the model form in the section below is there if you would rather use one. What matters is the day you send it, not the day we read it, so a withdrawal sent on the fourteenth day is in time.
If you withdraw we refund the whole price you paid. We keep a share of it only where you expressly asked us to begin your membership before the 14 days were up and we told you, at the time you asked, that you would then have to pay for the part you had used. Where that is so, we keep the price you paid multiplied by the number of days from the day your membership began up to but not including the day you sent your withdrawal, divided by the number of days in your membership year, and never more than you paid; and if that price is excessive, we work the share out from the market value of what you actually had instead. The refund goes back by the same means you paid, within 14 days of the day you told us, unless you agree another means, which will cost you nothing either. Where mandatory consumer law gives you a withdrawal, cancellation or refund right beyond this section, that law prevails.
Referral credits
Where we offer it, a client who has met a companion through us can share an invitation link. If someone new to this site opens it, makes a first request here, pays that request's advance (the “booking advance” above; a waived advance earns nothing) and has a first meeting, the person invited receives a credit, and so does the person who invited them. The person who invited is rewarded for at most five invited people in a calendar year; that limit does not apply to the person invited. The credit is the figure for the country of that first request, and never more than half that advance as actually charged.
A credit comes off a later booking advance in the currency it was given in. Where a membership has already brought that advance to nothing, the credit is not used and stays whole for a later one; it still expires twelve months after it was given, whether or not an advance came up to spend it on. It never changes what a companion is paid, lasts twelve months from the day it is given, has no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged, and ends if the account is closed or deleted. If the qualifying advance is refunded in full, both credits are withdrawn, and any part already used is deducted from a future credit; a partial refund does not withdraw them. We never give a credit for a review, rating or testimonial. We refuse a credit, or hold it for review, where the two accounts appear to belong to the same person, or where we cannot work out the credit for that country and currency, and we may withdraw a credit that was obtained by misuse. We may change, pause or end the programme at any time; credit already given still expires on its date, and while the programme is paused it cannot be used.
Model withdrawal form
You do not have to use this form, and any clear statement that you are withdrawing will do. If you would rather use one, copy it, fill it in and send it to us.
To Girlfriend Hire, 350 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10118, +1 (956) 215-7882, [email protected]: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the following — a membership (Member or Concierge). Ordered on [date]. My name. My address. My signature (only if you send this on paper). Date.
Client booking payment, changes and refunds
This section applies only where your booking confirmation says we collect the whole price, which is then paid in full at confirmation. 7 or more days before the date: reschedule, or cancel — the advance is kept and half of the rest comes back. Under 7 days: nothing is refunded and the date cannot move. This rule applies to voluntary cancellation by the client. If we cannot provide the agreed service, or if mandatory consumer law grants a withdrawal, cancellation or refund right, that law prevails. Any agreed expenses and the method and timing of a refund should be stated in the booking confirmation.
Companion accounts and listing
When you sign up as a companion, your profile is published on this site, the one you joined, and on no other. What is published is your first name, your approved photographs, the details you choose from lists (such as city, languages, age and height) and the text of your profile once a reviewer has approved it. Your contact details, your identity document and anything from your identity check are never published. After approval your profile is locked: to change it, ask us to unlock it, and the change is reviewed again before it is shown.
Joining is free, and it stays free: there is no listing fee, no subscription and nothing else for a companion to pay, in any country. You are never charged to appear on the site, to be matched, to receive the contact details of a client who chooses you, or to be introduced. A client can be introduced to you once your identity check is approved. A profile guarantees no requests, introductions, bookings or income.
Unless the booking confirmation says we collect it, the client pays you directly on the day 50% of the price shown for the booking, and you are charged nothing for any of it. Asking a client for more than that 50% is a breach of these terms, and a client can report it.
Conduct, safety and reports
Respect the agreed boundaries, the other person's consent and local law. Do not seek sexual services, harass, impersonate, threaten, discriminate unlawfully or move a booking outside approved arrangements. Either person may leave an unsafe meeting and report it through the account safety tools or by email. We may pause, unlist or end access while reviewing a safety report, subject to applicable law and our review process. We arrange introductions; we cannot supervise every meeting or promise that no incident will occur.
Bookings, changes, extensions and further bookings are arranged through this site, and anything paid to us is paid only through it. Contact details exchanged after a companion accepts are for arranging that booking. Using them to arrange another booking outside this site breaches these terms, and we may end access for it.
Privacy, liability and local rights
Our Privacy Policy explains data use, including identity verification, payments and analytics. Nothing in these terms excludes a refund, consumer remedy, statutory warranty or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Any other liability limit applies only to the extent permitted by the law governing your transaction. Mandatory rights and access to courts or regulators remain unaffected. Contact us about a dispute so we can review the booking record.
Changes
The dated version shown on this page applies when you use the site. Material changes to paid booking or advance terms apply to future transactions unless you expressly agree otherwise or law requires a change. We will not retroactively reduce rights in an already confirmed booking.
